東京都出身。ビバリーヒルズ・ロデオドライブでフェンディのフランチャイズ事業を展開する叔父を手伝うため、1980年に渡米。1989年、ビバリーヒルズでセレブリティ向けに高級物件を取扱うアルバレス・ハイランド・アンド・ヤング（Alvarez, Hyland & Young: 現在のHilton&Hylandの前身）社に日本人初のリアルターとして所属し、不動産業業界に進出。
1991年、全米最大のフランチャイジーだったプルデンシャル・カリフォルニア・リアルティ (Prudential California Realty) の国際部門ディレクターに就任。母体のプルデンシャル・リアルエステイト・アフィリエイツ (PREA) の業務も兼任、プルデンシャルのグローバル・ネットワーク確立に貢献。
1993年～2008年までの15年間、米国最大の不動産団体・全米リアルター協会 (NAR) でアジア・太平洋地区の統括責任者及び日本担当として、日米・アジア諸国とのネットワーク構築や業務提携に尽力。国土交通省 (MLIT) や業界団体との更なる関係構築を目指し、米国の不動産業務・市場等の勉強会・セミナーを多数実施。
2012年、英国王立チャータード・サベイヤーズ協会 (RICS) の日本法人設立、不動産証券化協会 (AREA) ・日本不動産鑑定士協会連合会 (JAREA) 等の関連団体との業務提携の仲介役を果たす。
2016年、日米を軸にした（一社）日米女性ビジネスネットワーク協会 (WBN) の設立に貢献。女性活躍と女性力の育成、グローバル化に対応できる次世代教育を目指す。
ハワイ州ホノルルに在住し、総合不動産会社ハワイ・ファイブオー・プロパティーズ・インク (Hawaii 5-0 Properties, Inc.) の筆頭副社長として、経営企画・不動産仲介・海外業務を担当。日米間を往復し、住宅不動産業界、業務提携関連会社、顧客へのアドバイザリー業務、執筆活動、ハワイへの不動産投資セミナー講演を実施している。
Born and raised in Tokyo. Takashi's real estate career started in 1989 at Alvarez, Hyland & Young (former brokerage firm of Hilton & Hyland) where specialized with Hollywood celebrities as first Japanese Realtor in Beverly Hills after helping his uncle established FENDI franchise store at Rodeo Drive in 1980.
And then being scouted by Prudential California Realty as Director of International Marketing in 1991. Also worked along with its franchisor, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates (PREA) to establish Prudential's global network.
His passion towards real estate business has created not only luxury home transactions but also dedicated building the relationships among international real estate organizations. Working at National Association of Realtor (NAR) as Asia/Pacific Regional Coordinator and a first Japanese Liaison during past 15 years until 2008 has developed tremendous network among US-Japan along with other Asian real estate industry.
He also helped establish the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK in Japan, and also affiliate with Association for Real Estate Securitization (ARES) and other organization with RICS in 2012.
His latest contribution was to bridge between U.S. and Japan, to establish the Japan-U.S. Women's Business Network (WBN) in Tokyo, Japan for the purpose of utilizing women's ability and knowledge into the society to help revive Japan, and to educate the next generation to coop with the globalization.
Currently he resides in Honolulu, Hawaii to help assist the family real estate business as an Executive Vice President of Hawaii 5-0 Properties, Inc. The company was established in 1989 to cover all real estate business needs, such as brokerage for both residential and commercial/Investment, development, property management, remodeling & renovation, research, consulting and marketing as one stop shop.
Takashi had been an advisor for various Japanese companies and occasionally holds his seminars and writes real estate articles to Japanese housing and real estate industry media. He travels to Japan every other month and holds the real estate seminars, and is in charge of setting up the affiliation & marketing of brokerage arm, Hawaii 5-0 Properties, Inc. for both domestic and overseas.
